MARY JACOB'S BEST SUGAR COOKIES 
4 1/2-5 c. flour
4 eggs (or 6 whites)
2 c. white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla (we prefer almond flavoring)
1 c. butter
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar till smooth. Add eggs and flavoring and beat till creamy. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir by hand. Roll out fairly thick and cut your cookies. Bake at 375 degrees only 6-8 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet while hot. Frost with your favorite frosting.
