MAPLE CREAM PIE 
2 beaten egg yolks
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. gelatin
Heavy cream
Vanilla
Whipped egg whites

Pour the following over 2 beaten egg yolks and heat in a double boiler: milk, maple syrup, and salt. Stir and cook until thickened. Remove from heat and add the gelatin, which has been soaked in 2 tablespoons of water. Chill until begins to thicken.

Whip 1 cup heavy cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Whip 2 egg whites until stiff. Fold all together and put in baked pie shell. Refrigerate.
