INDIAN SPICED BEANS 
2 c. dried red beans
4 c. stock (beef or chicken)
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. tomato, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 dried red peppers
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Wash beans and remove any stones. Place all ingredients in a 4 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and cook for 4 hours on low heat. Makes 4 1/2 cups. Very healthy!
