PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak, slice across grain
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Mix well, pour over meat and mix thoroughly to coat. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in fry pan. Saute 3 or 4 minutes, 1/2 pound green pepper, cut in 1/2" squares. Remove to side dish. Add 3 tablespoons oil to pan and heat with 1 slice shredded ginger and 1 minced clove of garlic. Add beef and fry 8 to 10 minutes. Add green pepper. Add 1/2 pound tomato, after removing pulp and cut into 1/2" cubes. Mix well and add 1/2 cup stock or bouillon cubes with water. Cook until thick.
