MARINARA TOMATO SAUCE 
1 lg. onion
1 (lg.) can Italian Imported Peeled Tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato paste
Basil
Olive oil

Put cut onion and about 2 spoonfuls of olive oil into saucepan. Cook until onions become golden.

Then, after squashing peeled tomatoes with your fingers, add the tomatoes to the pan and simmer for at least 45 minutes. Then add basil leaf, quite a bit, to give it the proper taste. Salt and pepper may be added when tomatoes are put in the pot. Also, put tomato paste in at the same time as the peeled tomatoes.
