POTATOES IN CREAM 
6 med. size potatoes
7 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. light cream
Salt & black pepper
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Peel and slice potatoes. Cook in salted water until barely tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and place in greased baking dish. Melt 6 tablespoons butter; blend in flour, then gradually stir in milk and cream. Bring to a boil, stirring until sauce thickens. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour sauce over potatoes; toss lightly. Melt remaining butter; add crumbs and cheese. Sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until tender.
