ENGLISH TOFFEE 
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. ground almonds
Pinch of salt
8 plain Hershey bars

Cook butter, salt and 3/4 cup almonds, 30 to 45 minutes until golden brown. Spread on cookie sheet. While hot, lay Hershey bars on candy. When melted, spread evenly. Add remaining almonds to top and press into chocolate enough to hold. Break into pieces when cold.
