PEPPER RELISH 
12 red sweet peppers
12 green sweet peppers
1 pod hot pepper
9 onions
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. mixed spices

Chop peppers and onions; cover with boiling water. Let stand 5 minutes. Drain; cover again with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain; add other ingredients (tie spices in bag). Cook 15 minutes. Pack into hot jars and seal at once.
