JOHNNY MARZETTI 
6 medium onions, chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter
2 (3 oz.) cans mushrooms, drained
8 c. shell macaroni (1 lb.)
1/4 c. butter (put in with macaroni)
4 c. sharp grated cheese
16 oz. can tomato sauce

Sauté first 6 ingredients for 15 minutes. Add 2/3 of cheese to meat mixture; stir until cheese melts. Add 8 ounces tomato sauce and mushrooms; mix well. Stir in macaroni and mix again. Top with 8 ounces tomato sauce and sprinkle with rest of cheese.

Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 40 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
