CHICKEN STRATA 
8-12 slices bread
2 c. cooked chicken or turkey
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. chopped celery
1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
2 c. milk
4 beaten eggs
1 c. mayonnaise

Cube 1/2 of bread, put in bottom of 9"x13" greased pan. Mix together chicken or turkey, chopped onion, chopped celery and mushrooms and put over bread cubes. Cube the other half of bread and put over the following filling: milk, eggs and mayonnaise. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.

Just before baking spread 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted, over all. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees.

Take from oven, sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the top. Bake an additional 15 minutes. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
