BAKED FISH IN HERB SAUCE
(PORTUGUESE)
 
2 lbs. fish fillets
Salt and pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. Wesson oil
1 tsp. lemon juice
Basil, Thyme (a pinch)

Sprinkle fish with salt, pepper. Place in shallow baking pan. In saucepan, combine remaining ingredients, bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over fish and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Baste occasionally.
