BROWNIES 
1/2 c. shortening (oleo best)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Make a paste of 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup cocoa. Heat until thick, mix into other mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes in 9 x 13 inch pan.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. milk
6 tbsp. butter

Bring to boil for 30 seconds, stir in 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir and cool until thick enough to spread.
