LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion chopped
2 c. stewed tomatoes
15 oz. can tomato sauce
3 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. basil leaves
9 lasagna noodles cooked and drained

CHEESE MIXTURE:

16 oz. cottage cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt

Brown ground beef and onion in pan until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain fat. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic, salt, and basil. Heat and simmer 15 to 30 minutes until mixture is the consistency of spaghetti sauce. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cheese mixture together. Place 3 noodles in buttered 13x9 pan and cover with thin layer of meat sauce, then half the cheese mixture, 3 more noodles and repeat. Sprinkle 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese on top. Bake 45 minutes.
