BLACK WALNUT BUTTER COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter (no substitutes), softened
1 c. flour
1/2 c. corn starch
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 c. black walnuts, chopped
Additional confectioners sugar

In mixing bowl, cream butter. Combine flour, cornstarch, and sugar. Add to butter. Stir in nuts. Roll into 3/4- inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet.

Bake at 300°F for 20 - 25 minutes or until set. Cool on wire rack. Dust with confectioners sugar.

Yield: 6 dozen.
