IRISH SODA BREAD | |
3 1/2 c. sifted flour 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 1/2 c. raisins 1 tbsp. caraway seeds 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tbsp. melted butter Mix flour, sugar, salt, soda, and powder. Add raisins and seeds. Mix to coat raisins. In large measuring cup, combine eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter. Pour over dry ingredients. Mix until moistened. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. |
