MACON "E'S" CHILI AND CHEESE | |
3 lbs. ground meat (beef, pork, chicken) 1 lg. onion, diced 2 pkgs. Chili-O-Mix 2 cans kidney beans 2 cans tomatoes Chili powder to taste Salt to taste Velveeta cheese Jalapeno peppers, diced (optional) In large skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is done. Drain excess fat from meat and add Chili-O-Mix. Stir and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Transfer to large pot and add remaining ingredients. Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Jalapeno peppers may be added for spicier chili. Serve with chunks of cheese and crackers. |
