CAMPING DOUGHNUTS 
1/2 c. egg yolks (I use some egg whites)
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Mix above together and add:

1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 tsp. baking powder

I make this up Saturday night so we have doughnuts Sunday morning. Put in refrigerator, covered. I double or triple this recipe depending on the crowd. Fry in oil in a deep fryer or electric skillet or pan on stove. Put batter in the hot oil by teaspoonfuls. Turn until brown. Roll in sugar and cinnamon.
