CALIFORNIA SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1 can chili beans
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tomato, chopped
1/2 head lettuce, cut up
Bottle Catalina dressing
1 bag Bar-b-q or plain Frito chips

Brown and drain ground beef. Add chili beans to meat and heat until hot. Remove from heat and spoon into a bowl. Mix onion, bell pepper, tomato cheese and lettuce together; cover with Catalina. Add beans and meat mixture. Crumble a few chips on each plate. Top with salad-meat mixture and more chips, if desired.
