CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
1 c. whipped butter
3 c. flour
3 c. sugar, sifted 3 times
5 lg. eggs
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together Crisco and butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating after each addition. Add flour, cocoa and milk. Beat and add vanilla. Cook in tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Don't open oven door until hour is over.

FROSTING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter, melted
Milk, just enough to make smooth

Mix together and spread on cake.
