BROWN SUGAR NUT POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. evaporated milk
2 c. nuts (1 each black walnuts and pecans)
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. coconut (optional)

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating at medium speed. Add flavoring. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Mix well. Chop nuts. Fold into mixture, mixing well. Place in greased tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

After removing from oven, let cake set approximately 20 minutes before removing from pan.

ICING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
