PENUCHE 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. marshmallow
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. chopped walnuts

Cook slowly until mix forms soft ball in cold water or it reaches 236 degrees on candy thermometer. Add the butter and the marshmallow. Beat until almost firm and add vanilla and chopped walnuts. Spread in 8x8 inch pan.
