PENUCHE 
1 c. light brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Combine sugars. Add milk. Heat mixture, stirring well until sugars are dissolved. Bring to boil. Continue to cook over medium heat stirring often until mixture forms a firm ball when tested in cold water. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla and nuts. Beat until thick. Spread on platter to cool.
