CHEESE CAKE BARS 
2 pkgs. crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
1 tsp. vanilla

Put 1 package of crescent rolls in bottom of non-stick 9 x 13 inch pan. (Layer rolls flat and try to press pieces together to make 1 large crust). Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, egg yolk and vanilla - beat well and spread this mix over crescent rolls.

Put second package of crescent rolls over top (may want to press pieces together to make 1 large crust before putting on top of cream cheese.) Spread lightly beaten egg white over top of crust. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup sugar over top. Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
