BETTY'S PARTY PUNCH 
1 (1 qt. 14 fluid oz.) can of orange juice, chilled
1 (1 qt. 14 fluid oz.) can of pineapple juice, chilled
2 qts. lime, orange, or lemon sherbet
2 c. sugar
1 c. lemon juice
2 (28 oz.) bottles ginger ale, cold

Combine chilled orange and pineapple juices. Mix sugar with lemon juice until dissolved. Add to juices and blend. Before serving, add cold ginger ale and sherbet. Makes 40 half cup servings, or 5 1/2 quarts.
