BLUM'S FUDGE SAUCE 
1/2 c. water
3 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tbsp. butter
3/4 tsp. vanilla (or orange or peppermint extract)

Melt chocolate in water over low heat. Add sugar and salt and stir until thickened about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla (or orange or peppermint extract). Serve warm or ice cream. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
