NANNIE'S DEW BERRY PIE 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
4 c. dew berries
3 c. sugar
Butter

Cook dew berries boiling approximately 20 to 25 minutes. If you wish to remove the seed, pour through strainer or clean cloth. Add sugar. Pour in baking dish. Add several hunks of butter.

Make crust. Cut flour into shortening. Add salt and water. Roll out dough on floured board. Cut in strips. Criss-cross on top. Sprinkle sugar over pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
