BUDDY'S TATER SOUP | |
4 large potatoes or more, peeled 1 lb. carrots, peeled and chopped 3 to 4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 onion, chopped 1 pkg. bacon, fried and crumbled 1 c. milk 1 c. water Fry bacon. Drain grease. Crumble into small pieces. Sauté onions in bacon grease. In another pan, put potatoes, carrots and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil until potatoes and carrots are soft. Add bacon, onion, 1 cup milk and soup. Cook until hot, but do not boil. When all is hot, add shredded Cheddar cheese. |
