ENGLISH STYLE FISH AND CHIPS 
2 lbs. cod, haddock, etc.
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
Milk
2 tbsp. oil
Potatoes

Sift together dry ingredients. Roll fish on mixture and set fish aside. To the remaining dry mixture add eggs and beat well. Add oil and enough milk to make 1 1/2 cup batter. Dip fish in batter and fry in deep oil until golden brown. Slice potatoes and fry until golden brown.
