CHOCOLATE WHIPPED CREAM TORTE 
2 layer devil's food cake (I use a mix baked according to directions)
1 box chocolate fudge frosting mix
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. corn syrup
2-3 tbsp. hot water

Bake devil's food cake in 2 round layers according to package directions. Cool and split each layer in half to make 4 thin round layers. Chill small mixer bowl and beaters.

In small mixer bowl, beat whipping cream with 2 cups dry frosting mix and vanilla until peaks form. Layer as follows: cake layer, 1/3 whipped cream, cake layer, 1/3 whipped cream, cake layer, whipped cream, ending with cake layer.

Stir remaining dry frosting mix with hot water and corn syrup to make glaze. Pour on top and allow to dribble down sides. Keep refrigerated.
