BREAD PUDDING 
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs, slightly beaten
6 slices bread, cubed
2 c. milk
2/3 c. raisins (optional)

Melt butter and add all ingredients in order given. Stir until well blended and put in 1 1/2 quart baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes until browned lightly and doesn't wiggle in the middle when jiggled.

Frost while hot with: 2 tbsp. browned butter Vanilla Milk

Brown butter if desired or just melt and add rest of ingredients with enough milk to glaze hot pudding. May eat plain or serve in milk.
