BAKER'S FROSTING 
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together salt, milk and flour. Cook slowly until thick. Cool in pan. Combine butter, Crisco, sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy and sugar dissolves (about 10 minutes). Add cooled milk mixture gradually beating until icing is creamy. Frost cake.
