NOODLE AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 c. butter
1/2 lb. fine noodles
2 c. instant rice
2 cans onion soup
2 cans chicken broth
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced

Melt butter, add uncooked noodles and rice. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into a 3 quart casserole. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
