GERMAN SPRITZ COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour, sifted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream the butter and butter together and add the sugar. Blend thoroughly. Beat in the eggs, vanilla and almond extract. Add the nutmeg, salt and flour; blend well. This will make a fairly stiff dough.

Place the mixture into a cookie press and squeeze onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned. Yield: 6 dozen.
