BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed ripe banana
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Lightly grease bottom only of loaf dish, 9 x 5 inch. Combine in medium bowl, flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside. Mix mash banana and lemon juice; set aside.

Beat sugar and butter in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Alternately stir in milk and dry ingredients; fold in pecans and banana mixture. Pour batter in dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
