BANANA BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter (oleo)
2 eggs
2 c. flour, unsifted
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. sour milk
3 very ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, butter and eggs. Beat until light and fluffy. Combine flour and soda. Blend with first mixture alternately with sour milk. Add mashed bananas and vanilla. Place wax paper in bottom of 5 x 9 inch loaf pan. Add batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until brown and springs back when touched lightly with finger. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
