PAPRIKA STEAK 
4 tbsp. butter
2 bay leaves
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. round steak, cut into serving pieces
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, minced or 1 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained

Line a large baking pan with aluminum foil, and coat foil with 2 tablespoons of the butter. Place bay leaves on foil. Dip steak in buttermilk and drain. Mix flour, salt, paprika and pepper. Coat steak with flour mixture and place on buttered foil. Dot steak with remaining butter. Sprinkle minced garlic or powder and drained mushrooms over steak. Cover with aluminum foil and seal well. Bake for 1 1/2 hours in a 350 degree oven. NOTE: 1 additional teaspoon paprika may be sprinkled over steak with the garlic and mushrooms.
