APPLE - GINGER BAKE 
3 lb. Mac. apples
10 gingersnaps (2" diameter)
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 pkg. Equal
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. lemon juice

Peel and core apples. Slice and place 1/2 in baking dish. Crush gingersnaps with cinnamon and equal. Sprinkle 1/2 on apples. Cover with remaining apples, sprinkle remaining crumbs. Mix water and lemon juice. Pour over apples and bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
