APRICOT DESSERT DIP 
1/2 c. dried apricots
1 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut up
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

In a small saucepan, simmer apricots covered in water about 15 minutes until tender. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. In blender or food processor, combined sugar, apricots and reserved liquid.

Cover and process until smooth. Add cream cheese, sour cream and nutmeg. Cover and process again until smooth. Spoon mixture into bowl and chill. Makes 1 1/3 cups. Best when served with fresh fruit. Makes 1 1/3 cups.
