BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 stick butter, melted
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. can strawberry pie filling
5-6 lg. bananas, cut up
1 c. pecan pieces
1 lg. tub Cool Whip
Hot fudge (optional)

Combine crushed vanilla wafers and melted butter. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Soften cream cheese and add powdered sugar; mix well. Layer over wafers. Next layer, the pineapples, strawberries, and sliced bananas. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle on the pecan pieces. Chill 1 hour.
