MORAVIAN GINGER COOKIES 
1/3 c. molasses
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/4 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Mix molasses, shortening and brown sugar. Blend all other ingredients. Cover and chill 4 hours. Roll on greased surface paper thin. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes. Let cool.
