STEWED NOODLES | |
1 lb. noodles 1/4 lb. lean pork 1/4 lb. ham 1/2 lb. shrimp 2 stalks green onions 1 clove garlic 2 slices fresh ginger, each 1/8 inch thick 2 tbsp. oil 2 c. stock 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/8 tsp. pepper Parboil noodles and drain. Cut pork and ham into slivers. Shell and devein shrimp and cut in half lengthwise. Cut green onions into 1/2 inch lengths. Mince garlic and ginger. Heat oil on high heat, stir- fry green onions, garlic, ginger. Add pork and ham and stir-fry everything 3 more minutes. Add shrimp and stir-fry until just done, 2 or 3 minutes. Add noodles, stock, soy sauce, pepper. Bring to a boil while stirring gently. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve hot. |
