PINEAPPLE CHEESE SQUARES 
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter, softened
1 c. chopped walnuts
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
15 oz. Cool Whip
2 cans pineapple pie filling
Coconut (optional)

In large bowl combine flour, butter and walnuts. Turn mixture onto 15x10x1 inch cookie sheet and pat on bottom and sides. Bake in 350 degree oven 10-15 minutes or until light brown; cool.

Cream together powdered sugar and cream cheese. Fold Cool Whip into mixture. Spread on cooled crust.

Spread pineapple filling over cheese layer. Sprinkle with coconut if desired.

NOTE: Blueberry or cherry pie filling may be substituted for pineapple filling.
