RED ONION DIP 
3 med. red onion
2 c. hot water
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. celery salt

Slice onion thinly. Put in bowl. In another bowl, mix HOT water with sugar until dissolved. Add vinegar. Pour over onions. Marinate overnight.

Next day drain well. Add mayonnaise and celery salt. Mix well. Serve on crackers.
