CABBAGE SOUP 
1 lb. hot sausage
2 or 3 kinds chopped cabbage - sm. heads (savoy, reg, napa)
8 to 10 cloves garlic, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 lg. cans chicken broth
Red pepper flakes

Take sausage out of casing and break into pieces and fry with onions and garlic. Add red pepper flakes. Brown; add to chicken broth, then add cabbage and simmer for about an hour (until cabbage is tender).
