2 lbs. (8 med.) fresh peaches 1 c. soft bread cubes 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel and slice peaches and place half in one quart casserole. Combine bread cubes, sugar, flour and salt. Top peaches with half of bread mixture. Dot with one tablespoon butter. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Bake 40 minutes or until bread is golden and peaches are tender. |
