ARTICHOKE SQUARES | |
2 jars (6 oz.) marinated artichoke hearts 1/2 c. green onions, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 c. dried bread crumbs 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. each pepper and basil 1/4 tsp. Tabasco (optional) 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar or Jack cheese, grated 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese Drain marinade from 1 jar artichokes (discard oil from second jar.) Pour into pan and saute onions. Chop artichoke hearts and add rest of ingredients plus onions to them. Bake in 8 x 8 inch oiled pan for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Cut into 1 inch squares. |
