NO CHOLESTEROL APPLE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
4 egg whites, slightly beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
5 lg. tart apples, peeled & cut into bite-sized pieces (5-6 c.)
1 c. golden raisins
2 tbsp. powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with vegetable spray. In a large bowl combine sugar and oil, stir in egg whites. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Mix well. Fold in apples and raisins.

Spoon into prepared pan; batter will be thick. Bake 50-55 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean. Sift powdered sugar over cake while still warm. Cool before serving. Makes 12 servings. Recipe can be halved and baked in an 8 x 8 inch cake pan.
