MIKE MOORE'S COBBLER 
2 cans pie filling, your choice
1/4-1/3 can water
1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick melted butter
1/2-1 c. chopped pecans

Pour 2 cans of filling into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of either vanilla or almond extract (we prefer vanilla with apple and almond with cherries) to the 1/4-1/3 can of water. Stir this into the filling to reduce thickness of filling. Sprinkle all of the dry cake mix over the pie filling. Do same thing with pecans. Use a spoon to drizzle melted butter over entire cobbler. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour. Take out when cobbler is a nice brown color.
