FRESH PEAR CAKE 
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. vegetable oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. pecans
3 c. chopped pears
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs, add sugar, vanilla and oil; beat well. Add flour, salt, soda and cinnamon, beat to combine. Batter will be very thick. Add pecans and pears until mixed well. Flour and grease 10" tube pan and bake 1 hour.
