1/2 c. butter, melted
1 lb. Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 gal. soft vanilla ice cream
1 lg. can Carnation milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 sqs. bitter-sweet chocolate
Cool Whip

Place butter and crushed Oreo cookies in two 13 x 9 inch pans and chill. Spread ice cream next on cookie mixture. Cook Carnation milk, sugar, butter and chocolate 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool. Then spread on ice cream layer and freeze. Spread Cool Whip on top and freeze until ready to serve.
